Happy March!!! 
Spring is on it's way and with the winter we have had it just can't come soon enough!!


The birds are busy outside these days and I have been busy inside working on new designs that will be coming out later this spring. 

Here are a few other things to watch 
for in the mean time!! !!

I have been working with Martingale/That Patchwork Place putting together a wool applique book filled with great sewing themed projects!!

Summer Mystery Quilt Blog Hop

Starting March 10 for 13 weeks a group of designers
 will share with you a free pattern to
 complete a Summer Mystery Quilt. 

Each week, one designer will post their pattern
 to make a patriotic themed quilt block using
 wool applique on cotton fabric. 

The patterns are free for you to download and print.
 Check the schedule below.

 Each pattern will be available at the website or blog
 provided on the date scheduled.

All of the designers will offer kits for sale
 on their website and there 
will also be a finishing kit for sale at the end of the hop.

Early bird gets the worm is part of pattern #185 Short and Sweet! Includes 12 sweet blocks that could be used seperatley or together.
